INTRODUCTION
My research focuses on understanding the causes and consequences of aggressive and violent acts in society and how to prevent such socially destructive behaviors through anger management, violence prevention and intervention. I explore these relationships using quantitative methods (e.g., meta-analytic reviews, clinical trials, laboratory and oline experiments, and online surveys).
I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Norwegian Center for Violence and Traumatic Stress Studies in Oslo, Norway. I have completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Injury and Violence Prevention Program at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. I earned my Ph.D. from the School of Communication at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, and my Master’s in Psychology from the University of Oslo in Oslo, Norway.
